I love you JAB.

the last event of the semester was amazing. JAB, I love you! I am so impressed with how everyone stepped it up this semester. Was it hard? yes. But was it a success..... definitely. You guys are amazing and i love each and every one of you!!!! Another cabin trip is in order :)

GAME NIGHT.

Last night was yet again another great game night. Driving there, not so much fun. But the food was amazing, and watching Jer and Aubree beef it out was hilarious. C'mon ride the train.... and ride it!! lol

BROOKE, thanks again for letting us come play last night. PRetty sure it was a blast, and im so glad you got to meet Matt. Pretty sure he wants to keep dexter. hahah

these are a few of my favorite things.

5 things on my to do list...

1-SKYDIVING, i have put it off long enough. :D this is the year i will jump from a plane.
2-CLEAN MY ROOM. having a roomate is probably the hardest thing in the world. especially when we share clothes and our entire wardrobe ends up on the floor. UGH
3-well since the semester is coming to a close, and my procrastination has definitely kicked in, homework should be numero UNO on this list.
4-FINISH READING THE FIVE BOOKS I HAVE STARTED. ;)
5-and last but not least, GET MORE SLEEP.

5 snacks i enjoy...

1-VANILLA WAFFERS. mmmmmm.
2-cereal. ALWAYS.
3-my little pony fruit snacks.
4-chocolate kisses. oh and the hugs are freakin good too.!
)5-COLD PIZZA. seriously its better cold than it is hot and ready.

5 things i would do if i were a billionaire...

1-BUY A HOUSE
2-BUY A BOAT, and like brookes said all the toys that go with it.
3-i would explore the world, with my (future husband). who doesnt want to travel the world?
4-probably not buy just a boat, but a house boat to go with it. I LOVE THE LAKE.
5-I WILL AGREE with brooke, and say put a ton in savings for each future munchkin I have so they have a college fund.

5 of my bad habits...

1-getting to bed too late, its not fun being a night owl, when you are FORCED to be an early bird.
2-shopping for things I dont need. BLOWING MONEY IS THE WORST FEELING, although sometimes its very refreshing.
3-PUSHING THE SNOOZE BUTTON. pretty sure I have to set my alarm an hour in advance cause subconciously I hit the snooze button four times before I actually hear the alarm. This tends to end in disaster.
4-PROCRASTINATION. enough said.
5-feeling a need to carry almost everything I own in my purse. BY THE END of the week I find things such as curling irons, and cap'n Crunch. haha

5 things i will never wear again.

1-I will never will wear my hair parted down the middle again. I LOOK LIKE A FLOWER CHILD. HAHA
2-cheap rings. yoU PAY EIGHT BUCKS TO get a ring of green who knows what around your finger, then you throw the ring in a drawer and NEVER WEAR IT AGAIN. unless you forget and the cycle begins all over again. UGH
3- just a sports bra, haha... thats what I miss about sixth grade, from there it was alll down hill.
4-cheer shoes on a major hike. LONE PEAK WAS HELL WITH THOSE THINGS. lou do you remember? haha. YET I CARRIED ON, AND CONQURED THE THE THING. WHOOH
5- white eyeliner. hahah WHEN I LOOK BACK, I WONDER WHy nobody ever said anything. haha EWE those were the days.

1-pretty sure i love my ipod. who would have thought you could put every single cd you own on something that fits right in your pocket
2-definitely MY CAMERA. i feel naked without it.
3-my subie, she gets me everywhere I need to go and more. .
4-brookes boat. lol. no but uhh the cabin is kinda a toy. I LOVE IT UP THERE.
5-and last but not least, my BLACKBERRY. MY MEANS OF COMMUNICATION, ITS sad that its impossible to survive without a cell phone these days. I APPRECIATE TECHNOLOGY.

straight from new york.

If ya'll dont remember, in November I had the privilage of attending NACA in Spokane, WA. It was just what I needed after the crazy stuff that happend the week before. I met some awesome people at this confrence, one of them being Derek James. We had a blast spending time together that week, and made plans to see eachother again. Since I had absolutly no cash to buy a plane ticket to NYC, we arranged for him to come here, not only to spend some Utah time together, but also for a concert at SLCC. He did amazing, and we had a blast during the couple days he spent here. My sister brooke came over to my moms today and took some adorable pictures of my nephew. She has been doing photography classes and is getting pretty darn good at it. There will be more where this came from, but I couldn't help but posting these pictures asap. Chase monkey ... you are freakin cute!

Secondhand SErenade!!!!

Last night my friend Nic and I went to see SECONDHAND SERENADE in concert. It was kinda slow at first with the opening acts, but once they came on stage the concert transformed into everything I had expected and more. We had a blast! By the end of the night we were completely exhausted, but even though I had to wake up at the butt crack of dawn this morning for work, last night was well worth my lack of sleep.

Oh he is so gosh darn cute. I have been staying at my moms for the past week just because I cant get enough of this little turd. I am so so excited to have lou and her family close by finally, and I'm sure everyone can agree. What would we do if we weren't able to see little Chase monkey grow up?

saying GOODBYE.

Saying goodbye sometimes isn't the easiest thing to do. I learned that the hard way. Life changes in ways you could never expect, and sometimes in a blink of an eye. Making choices that could effect the rest of your life shouldn't be easy.. but why are they sometimes so hard. Over the past few weeks, I have been posed with some life changing decision making. No, not life or death, but things which could effect my career/schooling. Throughout the past year I have served as Vice President of the Jordan region at SLCC. I have learned so many valuable lessons from the amazing people I have bonded with throughout these crazy semesters. It wasn't hard until I had to say goodbye to those people, and realize that these lessons I have learned will now come into play as I face the next step in my life. I received an amazing job which is paying for all of my schooling, and couldn't pass the opportunity, so I had to say goodbye to Student council a couple weeks early. At first I will admit, I was excited and ready to move on, but after I sat and thought about the memories I created, I realized that the people I was leaving behind had become more like a second family than an activities board. I will never forget the challenges I had to face and overcome, but mostly I will never forget the lessons I learned, and the people who helped me along the way. I love you JAB.

another new car ???

so ... I think its like car buying season, over the past two months almost everyone in the family scored a new car. Well I finally did it. The civic, is no more. In fact, the kid I sold the little trooper to wrecked the week he bought it, so it doesn't even roam the streets of Salt Lake anymore. Although she was hard to let go of, I had moved on.... and here she is, my little subaru. Who needs a camper when you have this road trip JEM? Mount Rushmore... here we come :D

Finally we did it. Talking Tia into getting off work to come visit is about the hardest thing to do, especially with gas prices these days, but with the help of Carson and Brady, she finally gave in. It was a short but sweet visit, and seeing them after so long was very refreshing. Good thing we didnt go to "JALE" that night right tia. MWAH love you guys!
