not so evil weekend...

This past weekend was a blast. Mel and I decided to have a party of our own, however we knew it would be sooo much more fun to bring the boys along. So ... with that said we packed up the car and hit the road. When we got up there we cooked dads famous "Fresh Salsa Salmon" and my grilling skills were put to the test.

Just like any cabin trip, we danced...watched movies and got hardly ANY sleep. Mel would agree that the party of our own was much better than one more casual night on Sage Street. Until next time...

So this guy at work came up to me yesterday all excited holding a piece of paper which was freshly printed. He held out the paper, pointed to a statistic and said that his Grandma had just sent him the coolest spread sheet ever. You type in your birthday and it calculates EVERYTHING... JUST PASSING THROUGH!

Today calls for CELEBRATION. It was a day I accomplished what I never dreamed of accomplishing. After a long month of pain, it passed. YEs my kidney stone is no longer fighting its way through my body, and is now plastered on a page in the infamous journal OF Mine! Today is a day to Celebrate, TODAY I PASSED MY KIDNEY STONE.

Well its been a while. Since I last posted, I have had my first roommate drama. I survived 2 haunted houses, and I paid a visit to the emergency room only to find out I have KIDNEY STONES. (if you feel like you are dying you could have kidney stones) but life is good, working as usual and wondering if the heater in my house will ever start working. ITS SO COLD!!!

In my recent "SeLF" survey, I have learned that life as a blonde is so much better than the "DARKER" days. Blondes really do have more fun!!!! I take my hair color for granted. I dont mean to, but when disaster strikes in my life, thERE are two things I turn to. 1. My extremely talented sisters and 2. HAIR COLOR. hahah its just what I do. I will be so pleased with my decision for the first couple weeks, then instantly it hits me like a ton of bricks. WHAT DID I JUST DO TO MY HAIR?? haha So what Im trying to get at here is this... I am a blonde, through and through. I am blonde and I love it. Thanks to my sisters I have been successful in going back to my natural hair color. Now if only my hair could grow back the ELEVEN inches I chopped off I would be very pleased. Slowly but surely it will be back and I will look back and remember that I should never go with my POST drama impulses.

don't take one day for granted

Sometimes you don't realize what you have until you sit and REALLY think about it. You may think life is hard, you may not want to spend another day alone, and if your not alone, you may wish to no longer feel alone. Wish all you want, wish away but until you get down on you knees and pray... your wishes won't come true. I love you. YES YOU... YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND WITHOUT YOU IN MY LIFE... I would have A LOT less to be thankful for.

BK GOT HITCHED

Well its been a couple weeks, but I though I should let everyone know BK is officially off the market. LOL On our amazing road trip, Katie and I were able to crash the kraupp/lundgreen wedding. Britt was a BEAUTIFUL bride, and the reception was AMAZING. Seriously if you ever need a wedding planner, I advise you to use Britt's mom. She did an amazing job. After all the picture fun we were all able to relax and catch up on good times. Long live the days at parkway crossing... I L O-L O-L O-L o v e you girls. :) NOT only did we mingle, and reminisce but at the end of the evening GUESS WHO caught the bouquet...(you know what that means!!!) Watch out boys...

STG road trip.

Last weekend Katie and I hopped in my subaru and took the cars first "offical" road trip. Oh it was great, before dark when we had no music. LOL Once we got down there we hit Mesquite's seafood buffett and ALMOST gambled for the first time ever. The slot machines only have places to put dollar bills now days... seriously what is this world coming to. Slot machines are not coin run, they only accept cash and credit cards. Sounds like trouble... so anyways we then caught up with chad and his buddies and went BUNNY HUNTING. We hunted all through the night and seriously had the time of our lives... well katie got sick from all our energy drinks, but other than that it we had a blast.

what is new?

Nic would agree that my house is AWESOME. haha although my room is small and not very exciting we always find ourselves sitting (yes just sitting) there for hours laughing or talking. Im not kidding time flies in that room!!!!!

a couple days after the accident, Brittany was hit by a car... ( i couldnt believe it either)!! She is doing fine now, with a little bit of a limp. But remember to keep this little gal in your prayers.

I guess since my blog is now blocked during my work hours, I don't make time to update it. Life has been at a stand still lately. Everything is moving around me, but I'm standing still. I wish the ground beneath me would shake a bit, because I'm getting bored of the repetition of my days. When I am busy and life is crazy, I want it to slow down, but when it is slow I need it to speed up. Im headed to St. George this weekend with Katie and I cannot wait. Britt Kraupp is tying the knot and I couldn't be happier for her. She is going to be a beautiful bride. Pics will probably be posted next week, so look forward to not just seeing the same old boring stuff if ya still read this blog, and until then here are a few from my great nights at the new house :)
