A day of joy/sadness!!

It’s a sad day at Warner Truck Center. It’s last day I will be saying these fine words through my little ear piece. “Warner Truck Center.. Oh directions, Bart or parts, uhhh… sorry sir I don’t understand you, ohh new trucks. One moment please” Who knew I would miss the sound of Russian accents so much? Or the Hispanics saying… “Speak tu Kebin Plece.” I’ll miss the way nobody ever brought back dealer plates and when they lost them, they blamed it on each other. It should be a happy day here for me. No more waking up at the butt crack of dawn to be to work early. No more of this 7:00 crap, if I have anything to do with it. But I know that next Monday I’ll wake up thinking to myself its time for work, and when I realize that I don’t work here anymore… I’ll either sigh in relief that I get to crawl back into bed, or get a pit in my stomach and wish I could just go back in one more time. Here is a list of things I’ll miss about Warner Truck Center from A to Z!!

a- All the friends and family I made! (they are like my second family
b- Bart saying good morning first thing, EVERY MORNING.
c- Calls, calls and as much as I hate all the calls, I’ll miss them
d- Dealer plates, and how annoying it was to keep track of them.. people would get pissed! Haha
e- Emails, and how I never got any cool ones. Cept for the infamous thought of the day by Jerry Z.
f- FED EX Boy hahah I’ll never forget the dude.
g- Getting fed-ex. It was a break from sitting but for some reason I dreaded doing it.
h- Hiding from the fed ex boy in Angies office.
i- Interesting phone calls… interesting people… intense laughter
j- Justin being a creeper as always.
k- The freaky kitty that lives in the parts department and gives me the stink eye every day.
l- Lacy, the law firm paralegal. L
m- Seeing the mail man every day, and sorting the mail I hate to sort
n- Numbers, I have every employees number memorized and all the sales men’s cell phones memorized, makes it easy to keep in touch. Haha You’ll never get rid of me guys.
o- OLD NASTY truckers… I’ll actually miss them
p- The parts guys who never fail to give me a smile and a wave
q- Quiet times when the phone isn’t ringing
r- Really nasty old red neck truckers
s- The Smell of cigarette smoke… weird right
t- Talking to the customers I like for a while on the phone
u- Unexpected packages in the mail
v- Very nice and very mean people
w- Warner Truck Center… just Warner Truck Center
x- X-hausting days where all I wanna do when I get home is sleep…
y- Yawning. (it never fails, someone always catches me right in the middle of it.. then they yawn)
z- Zmyslo and telling everyone who calls how to pronounce it

As you can see there are many things I’m going to miss here at Freightliner of Utah, most of all I will miss the friendships I have made. From the mail man- all the way to my favorite sales man. I will miss this place, and will never forget the memories I have had here. If your one of my co workers reading this, enjoy and remember I love ya!

Holy Smokes..

Wow... Time is flying by. In a couple weeks I wont be living in Utah any more. I wont be 45 minutes away from seeing mom, just when I need some time to relax and have a good talk. I wont be close enough to call if someone needs me to baby sit the nephews...my life is litterally about to change in more ways than I can really comprehend right now. I have only 4 more days of work here at Freightliner, and although I am exhausted from working so much I know I am going to miss this place. Its been such a great job! ITs so weird that my life is about to change so much, but I truly am excited and I know that this is what im supposed to do. If you ever need a place to stay back east, Im your girl. ;)

my vacation continued...

Here are the pics from the remainder of my trip. Lets just say I had the time of my life and will not wait 12 more years to go back to the south. After Shane and I went on the ghost tour, we headed out to Sullivans Island to see Fort Moultrie. It was freezing, windy and dark, but we managed to have a wonderful time. Next thing we knew it was past one and we didn't want to keep my Momma waiting so we headed back to the hotel. When we got there I woke her up so that we could talk about or exciting night with Ian. Delusional, she woke up and came into the little family room to chat. Us three litterally spent the rest of the night laughing, sharing stories, and laughing more. I dont know how Gary didn't wake up?

The rest of the week went by way to fast! When it all was all said and done, I didn't want to leave. After Charleston, we headed to Myrtle Beach. It was beautiful, but cold. The following day I was pretty anxious to get back to Columbia, and there wasn't too much to do so we headed home. I was able to meet Shanes fam that night and it was so much fun. They are exactly like the "Broadbunch" (my family) and I felt right at home. I am sooo happy I decided to go to South for Thanksgiving and my moms birthday. Seeing Granddaddy and Grandma and getting to know them better was an amazing experience that I will never forget. I truly can't wait to be out there again. Not too much longer...:)

The DIRTY south has a hold on me...

Lets just say my trip to South Carolina was better than I ever imagined. I am soooooo thankful for my Papa for helping me get down there. I really owe it all to him. He didn't want me to be all alone on thanksgiving so he helped me get a flight to SC with Momma and Gary. It couldn't have been better timing, and a better Thanksgiving vacation. Mel my roommate (bless her soul) woke up at 4:30am just to get me to the airport on time.

As you might know I am an avid history buff. I love American History, and what better place to learn about the foundation of America than one of the 13 original colonies. I wanted to learn everything I could and Mom and Gary were very helpful with that. Mom, being proud of her heritage, and Gary just being so sweet and giving, we didn't really miss out on much. We started out our journey in Columbia, going to all the old mansions and to the Historic State House.

Next on our agenda was Charleston. I couldn't wait to see it, the history behind this town was seriously breathtaking. The first shots of the Civil War took place on the very Fort I stood on. There was soooo much history, I could sit and talk for hours... but really I wont bore anyone. It was just a magical feeling being there, where the first settlements were established. Oh gosh, I wish I could go back right now.

This is Momma and me on a carriage ride throughout the city. The guide was awesome, he knew his stuff. But I did leave out a small fraction of information. The day before we went to Charleston, I attended the singles ward (granddaddy just had a feeling I should go), So I did as Diddy wished, and I don't regret it one bit. I met some of the COOLEST people I have ever met, and instantly gained a great group of South Carolina buddies. One of the many was Shane Branham, the son of moms old playmate Dennis, and the grandson of Nanny's old best friend growing up. Mr. Shane and I ended up talkin a whole lot that Sunday, and the following day until finally I asked him to join us in Charleston so that he could take me on the infamous "Ghost Tour" Why he actually came, I'll never understand but his 2 hour journey ended up paying off. WE HAD THE TIME OF OUR LIVES.
